Ebbsfleet International: England’s gateway

The story of Ebbsfleet is a microcosm of this island’s story, born of its strategic links to continental Europe and the world beyond by road, by water and soon by rail.

Sitting between Gravesend and Dartford and close to the River Thames is the High Speed 1 station Ebbsfleet International, opened in November 2007.

Ebbsfleet has been designed for customers in a hurry with parking close to the terminal and straightforward processes within the building meaning access to the Capital or the Continent is easy - establishing this station as England’s Gateway.

An new international arts competition to design a world class sculpture at Ebbsfleet has been commissioned - click here to watch film.
